Rohit Sharma emerged as the top run-scorer in T20 Internationals and became the first Indian to knock 100 sixes in the format following his knock of 50 against New Zealand at Auckland on Friday.
Chasing the home side's 158/8, India made a brisk start to their innings with captain Sharma whipping Scott Kuggeleijn over short fine leg in the fourth over taking him to the milestone 100th maximum in T20Is. He became just the third cricketer after Chris Gayle and Martin Guptill to reach the landmark.
