Sikkim felt the effects of being put in to bat first as they were rattled early on. The score was 78/4 when Iqbal Abdulla, an ARCS Andheri regular in the T20 Mumbai league, walked in and he went on to put 142-runs for the fifth wicket with Yashpal Singh before they fell in quick succession. Sikkim made 264 before they folded with Iqbal Abdulla's 84 taking just 109 balls, with the help of 10 fours and 2 sixes.

The home team made 360 in response with Iqbal Abdulla taking four of the last six wickets to fall, including top-scorer Gurinder Singh, who fell for 99. Sikkim managed 69/3 in their second innings before the match was declared a draw.

It was Iqbal Abdulla's second straight four-wicket haul after his 4/35 against Arunachal Pradesh earlier this month. He also nearly scored another century against Nagaland last month, when he was dismissed for 94.

Ton-up for Harmeet Singh

Left-arm spinner Harmeet Singh smashed his maiden century in first-class cricket, his 143-ball 102 laced with 13 fours and a six helping Tripura score 279/5 in the rain-curtailed match against Uttarakhand at the Maharaja Bir Bikram College Stadium in Agartala. The home team had shot the visitors out for a paltry 90 with Tripura taking a 189-run lead. Uttarakhand were reduced to 148/8 in their second innings before it ended in a draw. Harmeet Singh represented SoBo Supersonics in T20 Mumbai Season 1.

Sagar Trivedi gets a four-fer

Sagar Trivedi, of Shivaji Park Lions, picked up four wickets in the second innings against Goa to give Puducherry a fighting chance to go into the fourth innings chasing a target of 265. He picked up scalps of Smit Patel, captain Amit Verma, Snehal Suhas Kauthankar and Amulya Pandrekar for a match-haul of five. His efforts weren't enough as Goa won the Plate Group fixture 81 runs.

Maiden fifty for Shashank Singh

Shashank Singh, who played for Triumph Knights Mumbai North East in T20 Mumbai, scored his maiden first-class fifty for Chhattisgarh in their Elite Group C match against Assam. He made 71 in the first innings in a match which eventually ended in a draw.
